German Police Escort ‘Stubborn’ Swan to Safety Along Highway

German police gave a wayward swan the VIP treatment near Neckartailfingen, escorting the bird along a highway until it got off the road. Video shared by the Reutlingen Police, who said they filmed it on March 29 on the B297 highway, shows a police car trailing the swan. “To ensure that all road users, including the swan, reached their destination safely, the vehicles had to be guided past the feathered obstacle on one side,” reported the police. A day after the robbery, Spencer had sent text messages saying he had committed the robbery and “bragged on social media about having so many items from the store that he ‘COULD OPEN A SMALL BOUTIQUE’,” the SDNY said. Spencer was convicted on two robbery charges, each of which carries a maximum potential sentence of 20 years. ...
