Squall Blows Lake Effect Snow Across Northern Michigan

Cold, gusting winds swept lake effect snow across portions of northern Michigan on Sunday, March 27, including areas around Burt Lake. This video taken by Ben Vanos, who said it was filmed on Burt Lake in Indian River, shows the squall moving across the water. The National Weather Service (NWS) reported some areas could see between one to two inches of blowing and drifting snow. The lake effect snow would diminish throughout Sunday and be gone by Monday, the NWS said. Credit: Ben Vanos via Storyful
