Golden Retriever Digs for Ball in Nebraska Snowstorm

A golden retriever dug for a tennis ball in the snow in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Thursday, February 16, as the National Weather Service (NWS) reported heavy snowfall in the area. Video posted by Jennifer Hardy on Thursday, which she said was captured in Lincoln, shows golden retriever Summerella playing in the snow. Hardy joked that the snowstorm showed Summerella the fun of finding a tennis ball in the snow. The NWS warned drivers that “travel remains dangerous” in eastern Nebraska on Thursday morning.
