Snowflakes Glisten in Rochester as NYC Hits Snow-Free Record

Snow glistened in the sunshine in upstate New York, on Tuesday, January 31, days after New York City surpassed a record for the " latest first measurable snowfall for Central Park." According to local media, if the city does not get any snow by Sunday, it could break another record – most consecutive days with no snow. Elsewhere in the state, footage captured by Joseph Frascati shows snowflakes drifting gently outside the Greater Rochester International Airport Tuesday morning. According to Frascati, the snow did not stick and was blown away by the wind. “At sunrise when conditions are right, the snow looks red to orange,” he added. Credit: Joseph Frascati via Storyful
