Zero Visibility in Buffalo Area as Arctic Front Overtakes New York

An Arctic cold front brought snow, gusty winds and “a rapid drop in temperatures” to parts of New York on Friday, December 23, according to the National Weather Service. Stormy conditions brought visibility to zero at the Buffalo Airport, the NWS said. This footage was taken Friday in Lancaster, east of downtown Buffalo, according to local resident Ashley Bukowski who posted it on Twitter. The storm was expected to bring lake-effect snow, blowing snow, and wind chills of -25 F, the NWS warned. Credit: @ashleysviews via Storyful
