NYC Mayor Joins Police After Subway Train Strikes and Kills Two People

Two people – a 44-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman – died after being hit by a subway train in New York, New York, on Tuesday morning, December 20, according to local news reports. Local news outlets reported that a “44-year-old man jumped onto the tracks in front of a train” and that it was “unclear how the 63-year-old woman was struck.” Video posted by the NYC Mayor’s Office on Tuesday shows Eric Adams at the 14th St and 6th Ave subway station with police.
