Motorist Takes Dog for Walk on Colorado Interstate Amid Traffic Backup

A dog owner stuck in traffic in central Colorado late on Wednesday, December 28, was spotted taking their pet for a walk next to a line of cars, footage posted to Twitter shows. This video was captured by Ian Curtis, who said he recorded it on Interstate 70 near Idaho Springs on Wednesday night while driving to Denver. “It was supposed to be a three-hour drive home that ended up being 12 hours,” Curtis told Storyful. “That specific area where I filmed – we didn’t move a single inch for about three hours!” he added. Police Detain Person at Moscow Memorial for Navalny

Police in Moscow were seen detaining at least one person at the “Wall of Grief,” a monument to victims of political persecution, where a vigil to Alexei Navalny was set up on Saturday, February 17. Video filmed by Russian media outlet SOTA shows police detaining one person near the monument and carrying them away. Navalny was reported dead by Russian Russian authorities on Friday, February 16. Authorities said the 47-year-old dissident fell ill and died in the prison colony where he was detained. According to Meduza, more than 150 people have been arrested at protests and gatherings in memory of Navalny across Russia. International media reported several journalists were arrested in Moscow and St Petersburg after Navalny’s death was announced.
