Man Attempts to Abduct 15-Year-Old Girl in Manchester Suburb

A man approached a 15-year-old girl and tried to force her into his car in an attempted kidnapping in the suburbs near Manchester, England, on Monday, November 21, according to the Greater Manchester Police. The attempted abduction may be connected to two other incidents involving two other teenage girls, one as young as 13 years old, in the Salford area, police said. Security camera footage shared by the Greater Manchester Police, which was timestamped as being captured on Monday, November 21, shows a dark hatchback in Eccles and Swinton. Detective Inspector Chris Horsfield said that the victims were “extremely shaken up” and that it was “very important that we get this man identified and off the streets as soon as possible.” The Salford Police reported that a “33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of three counts of attempted kidnap” on Monday, November 28.
