Crews Work to Clear Feet of Snow From Buffalo Streets Following ‘Historic’ Storm

Crews worked to clear streets of more than six feet of snowfall in the Buffalo, New York, area on Monday, November 21, following a historic storm. Videos posted to Facebook by Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown on Monday show snow-clearing efforts on residential streets across the city. News reports said Buffalo received as much as six feet of lake-effect snow over several days. On Monday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul said FEMA had approved an emergency declaration for counties affected by the “historic” storm. Buffalo Public Schools were closed due to snow on Monday, but City Hall remained open, according to posts from the mayor.
