A Russian court has rejected an appeal by American basketball star Brittney Griner against her nine-year prison sentence. She was arrested in February at a Moscow airport with vape cartridges containing cannabis oil, which is banned in Russia, in an incident that has become another flashpoint between Moscow and Washington.
