At Least Two Killed by Hurricane Fiona in Dominican Republic

Hurricane Fiona left at least two dead and thousands displaced in the Dominican Republic, according to local media. Footage recorded by @erzulies shows flooding and a felled tree at the Cocotal Golf and Country Club in Punta Cana. Local media, citing the Emergency Operations Center (COE), reported that two people had died, thousands were displaced, and several communities were left isolated after the country was hit by Hurricane Fiona, which had strengthened to a Category 4 storm as it moved north on Wednesday, September 21. Police Detain Person at Moscow Memorial for Navalny

Police in Moscow were seen detaining at least one person at the “Wall of Grief,” a monument to victims of political persecution, where a vigil to Alexei Navalny was set up on Saturday, February 17.
