Four Officers Injured After Fight Breaks Out at Festival in Spain

Four police officers were injured and one person arrested after a fight broke out at a fairground in central Spain early Sunday, August 28, local officials said. Footage posted to Twitter by user @iisaa_ls shows crowds of people in Alcala de Henares as a loud bang goes off in the background. Other footage posted to social media shows a fire in the area on the same night. News outlet TeleMadrid reported that altercations from the fairground moved to the town square and surrounding streets and police worked to clear the scene until 8 am Sunday. Police Detain Person at Moscow Memorial for Navalny

Police in Moscow were seen detaining at least one person at the “Wall of Grief,” a monument to victims of political persecution, where a vigil to Alexei Navalny was set up on Saturday, February 17. Video filmed by Russian media outlet SOTA shows police detaining one person near the monument and carrying them away. Navalny was reported dead by Russian Russian authorities on Friday, February 16. Authorities said the 47-year-old dissident fell ill and died in the prison colony where he was detained.
