Timelapse Shows Wall of Rain Descending on Lower Manhattan

Intense rainfall soaked New York City on Monday, July 25, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flash flood warning for areas in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. The NWS also issued a special weather statement warning of winds up to 40 mph and small hail in the area.
