Lightning Strike Gives a Fright During Storm in Rural Illinois

Lightning struck was near a farm in Manteno, Illinois, on Saturday, July 23. Video posted by 3 Winds Farm shows dark storm clouds and rain approaching as lighting flashed and thunder boomed on Saturday. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the region early Saturday morning. The NWS reported a tornado warning for the area just north of Manteno.
