Police in Northern California helped a skunk escape from a bait trap after the animal got its head stuck on Monday, June 20, according to the Clearlake Police Department. Footage posted by the Clearlake Police Department on Tuesday shows the rescue. “If you have any questions regarding caring for skunks, rescuing them, etc., please contact Sgt Ramirez,” the department joked in its post. “Actually, please don’t.
