Light Snow Falls on Texas Panhandle

Light snow moving across the Texas Panhandle on Thursday, January 20, caused dangerous travel conditions and accumulated more than half an inch in Amarillo, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. Video posted to Twitter by user @drpenn shows light accumulation on a residential road in Amarillo Thursday morning. The NWS said it received at least one report of a car sliding off the road Thursday morning. The station in Amarillo measured 0.6 inches of accumulation. Credit: @drpenn via Storyful
