Snow Covers Mammoth Mountain as Squall Sweeps Northern California

Heavy snow shut down Northern California highways and ski resorts and left residents snowed in on Monday, December 27. Video filmed by @dabbing_fireball on Instagram shows snow blanketing a road on Mammoth Mountain, California, on Monday. Yet more snow was sweeping across California’s Sierra Nevada mountains and western Nevada on Tuesday morning, the NWS said. The UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab said it was a record month for snow, with 193.7 inches so far in December. Credit: @dabbing_fireball via Storyful
