Luggage Piles Up at Seattle-Tacoma Airport Amid Flight Disruptions

Winter storms and staff shortages due to COVID-19 continued to disrupt flights at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington on Monday, December 27. This footage was filmed by Twitter user @_reallyRobin, who said there was “nothing but chaos and confusion” as they predicted they would spend “another night at the airport.” On Sunday evening, the airport tweeted that crews were “gearing up for continued snow and ice maintenance on runways, taxilanes, and the ramps” and advised travelers to “stay in touch” with their airline for possible delays or cancelations.
