The Northern Territory records zero new COVID cases

NT Health Minister Natasha Fyles says after conducting 2,615 COVID tests, the Territory has recorded zero new cases of COVID-19 and the cluster remains at 58. “Some of the key indicators that we have been using have also been giving us some positive results today; we have negative wastewater results right across Katherine, which is very pleasing, including Bicentennial Road,” Ms Fyles said. The wastewater in Lajamanu has turned to a presumptive positive, meaning the COVID presence has decreased. She said the lockout for Katherine will remain in place until December 7 but things are “pointing in that right direction”. In the territory, 137 vaccinations were administered as the rates continue to climb to the 80 per cent double dose target.
