‘World is literally on fire’: COP26 climate protests

Activists in Glasgow called on global heads of state to go beyond words and make meaningful commitments to keeping the world within 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) of heating on Thursday, four days before the COP26 climate summit begins in the city. One activist leader, Andrew Nazdin, said "from wildfires in the U.S., to flooding across the world, we are in a full-blown climate crisis."
