NSW to ditch coal by 2040 despite the fact it uses a ‘thumping amount’: Murray

New South Wales is moving to ditch coal by 2040 despite the fact a "thumping amount" of the state's electricity comes from coal, according to Sky News host Paul Murray. "In the past 24 hours, 77 per cent of the energy that powers that state came from coal," he said. "Just 18 per cent from renewables."
