Divisiveness of climate change debate ‘just within the LNP’

Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese says the divisiveness of the climate change debate is within the Coalition Party and not between those in the regions and the cities. “The divisiveness is just within the Liberal Party, within the National Party and between the Liberal and National Parties,” he said. “Australians know that action on climate change is a positive measure for Australia to do.” Mr Albanese said residents know the country has “more at stake” because of climate change than other countries, and the federal government still will not commit to action.
