Beaches Closed Due to Dangerous Surf From Ida in Orange Beach, Alabama

The city of Orange Beach, Alabama, announced area beaches were closed to the public under double-red-flag and storm-surge warnings on August 30 following the arrival of storm Ida. The National Weather Service said “dangerous” rip currents would be present in Gulf Coast waters throughout the week and warned people not to go in the ocean.
