IRS refuses tax-exemption for Christian group as Bible ‘leans towards Republican party’

The Advertiser's Caleb Bond says the argument made by the IRS for rejecting tax-exemption for a Christian non-profit group because bible teachings and "Christianity leans towards the Republican party" is not true. "I can't remember anywhere in the Bible or any mention of Jesus getting up and saying 'you must vote for the Republican Party'," he said. "Some of these happy clapper churches are anything but right-wing."
