Victoria records four new coronavirus cases

Victoria has recorded four new cases of COVID-19 overnight – taking the state’s cluster to 30 as it enters its first day of lockdown. Travellers entering New South Wales today from Victoria will be required to comply with the lockdown restrictions – meaning all arrivals must quarantine at home for the seven days. Air travel between Sydney and Melbourne has also taken a hit, with 19 of 35 Qantas flights between the two cities cancelled. Travellers were warned health officials will be patrolling Sydney Airport and conducting random checks at gates.
