Tamworth Music Festival brought to Sydney

The Tamworth Music Festival is coming to Sydney this weekend - bringing the best of the country to the city to encourage travel to the regions after it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. Singer and songwriter Amber Lawrence told Sky News, “Tamworth is such an iconic event for music lovers anywhere but now it’s coming to the city of Sydney and I think it’s just going to be a great showcase of what country music is and also what it isn’t". “I think people have got in their minds what country music is but it’s so diverse and there’s everything from your story tellers and your songwriters to really kind of contemporary pop style country. “I’m actually from Sydney so I think it’s fantastic that we’re giving Sydney a shot at seeing if they can match the hospitality of beautiful Tamworth. “I just think there’s so many secret country music lovers out there. This is your chance, get out, come to the city and enjoy it”. The line-up for the festival will include artists such as Amber Lawrence, Travis Collins, Adam Harvey, Luke O’Shea and Andrew Farriss from INXS.
