Aged inoculation program ‘one of our most important achievements as a nation’

Health Minister Greg Hunt has praised the nation’s aged care vaccination effort – saying by the end of the day 100 per cent of Victorian aged care facilities are expected to have been jabbed. He told Sky News nearly 99 per cent of all aged care facilities across the nation will also have been vaccinated. “That is an extraordinary national achievement and its protecting our most vulnerable,” the health minister said. “We had to start somewhere, we have to finish somewhere but what we’re seeing is that that process is coming to completion and I think that that’s been one of our most important endeavours and achievements as a nation.”
