Photographer Scrambles Away From Icelandic Volcano Lava

A photographer was seen scrambling away from lava spilling out of a volcano on Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula on Monday, March 29, video shows. Oskar Einarsson said he visited the Fagradalsfjall volcano on Monday, capturing this footage of a photographer quickly grabbing his tripod to run away from the nearby lava and flames. Einarsson’s footage also shows glowing trails of lava spreading across the ground at night. The Icelandic Meteorological Office said Monday marked the volcano’s ninth day of eruption.
