Heavy snow fell across Iowa’s Quad Cities on Tuesday, December 29, leading to continued accumulation and hazardous roads, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported. The entire region was under a winter storm warning and winter weather advisory as of Tuesday morning, the NWS announced. The Iowa Department of Transportation warned of low visibility and snow-covered roads as accidents were being reported along highways in Des Moines.
