WHO says the COVID-19 outbreak could peak again

Supplied video obtained Tuesday, May 26, 2020, of Dr Michael Ryan, Executive Director, WHO Health Emergencies Programme, speaking during a press briefing at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Ryan says the world is still in the middle of the first wave of the coronavirus outbreak. "We're still very much in a phase where the disease is actually on the way up," he says. "We cannot make assumptions that just because the disease is on the way down now that it's going to keep going down. We may get a second peak in this wave."
