Two charged as part of investigations into coordinated theft and sale of baby formula

Supplied video obtained Wednesday, May 27, 2020, showing the arrest of 45-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman as investigations continue into the alleged coordinated theft and distribution of baby formula in Sydney's south-west. Both the man and woman were taken to Bankstown Police Station. The man was charged with thirty-five counts of shoplifting, six counts of dispose property - theft - serious indictable offence, drive while disqualified, and breach of bail. Police Detain Person at Moscow Memorial for Navalny

Police in Moscow were seen detaining at least one person at the “Wall of Grief,” a monument to victims of political persecution, where a vigil to Alexei Navalny was set up on Saturday, February 17. Video filmed by Russian media outlet SOTA shows police detaining one person near the monument and carrying them away. Navalny was reported dead by Russian Russian authorities on Friday, February 16. Authorities said the 47-year-old dissident fell ill and died in the prison colony where he was detained. According to Meduza, more than 150 people have been arrested at protests and gatherings in memory of Navalny across Russia. International media reported several journalists were arrested in Moscow and St Petersburg after Navalny’s death was announced.
