The National Rugby League season relaunch kicks off tonight as the Parramatta Eels take on the Brisbane Broncos following the temporary suspension of the league due to the coronavirus pandemic. Former player and Brisbane Broncos Assistant Coach Corey Parker said "it's been a long wait" for NRL fans and said everyone was "just happy rugby league and live sport is back on our TV". "[Players] only had two weeks to get into it and then there was a halt in the season. "It'll be a tough season. No teams in history have been asked to play 22 games straight without a break."
