Australian research reveals virus could have been altered to transmit to humans

Flinder’s University Professor Nikolai Petrovsky said he has considered a cell-culture experiment gone wrong led to the outbreak as a normal transmission from an animal would be less binding to human cells. Sky News host Sharri Markson said the professor’s research showed the virus was more likely to attack human cells than animal cells.
