Millions of potentially unidentified COVID-19 cases in New York

Health authorities in the United States have revealed there may be millions of unidentified COVID-19 cases across New York which is “good news,” according to Sky News contributor Michael Ware. Mr Ware told Sky News 3,000 people across New York state were tested for coronavirus antibodies and revealed 14 per cent had already unkowingly been exposed to or had the virus. “What it is telling us is a lot more of us have been through the coronavirus, have had the coronavirus, we either had no symptoms or very mild symptoms and we’re all still walking around,” he said. “What it also means is that across New York state, a state of 19 million people, at least 2.5 million people have had the coronavirus, and that is bizarrely a good thing.” Image: AP
