US to send Italy $100mn in medical supplies

US President Donald Trump has pledged to send $100 million worth of protective equipment to Italy after speaking with Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. Mr Trump said the US had additional capacity and products it did not need. “We’re going to be sending approximately $100 million worth of things to Italy," he confirmed. “Giuseppe was very, very happy.” Image: AP
