Tensions rise in southern Italy over food shortages

Tensions are rising in southern Italy as food and money shortages plague its citizens amid the coronavirus pandemic. The government put aside 400 million euros for citizens who are unable to afford food. Italy has recoded 11,500 fatalities including 61 doctors. The head of Italy’s emergency response said the virus may have peaked in the country however lockdown would only be lifted by degrees. Image: AP
