‘It’s a Car Wash’: Streets Flood Following Storms in Newcastle, New South Wales

Streets in Newcastle, New South Wales, were flooded after severe thunderstorms swept the region on February 26. The Bureau of Meteorology and state emergency services warned of heavy rain, flooding, hail and damaging winds that impacted communities in the state’s north and west on the Wednesday.
