ACT ESA Commissioner Georgeina Whelan has told Sky News the current Orroral Valley fire burning in the territory has grown to "30,000 hectares in size, will jump containment lines" and cross the New South Wales border. Commissioner Whelan said the fire poses a "major threat" due to challenging weather conditions and its proximity to Tharwa village. Ms Whelan issued a plea to residents urging them to "say no to disaster tourism". "It's just challenging for us, it's absolutely shocking and it's downright dangerous." Image: News Corp Australia
