‘The plot thickens’ for Trump impeachment vote

Professor at RMIT University Joe Siracusa says “the plot thickens” after the US House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump for alleged abuse of power last week. Prof. Siracusa told Sky News “a couple of impeachment articles are at the doorstep of the senate, and Nancy Pelosi won’t deliver them,” meaning “the president really hasn’t been impeached yet”. “Around the Christmas table I think he is going to have some very tough family discussions, there is going to be pressure on him within his inner circle to call it at a one-term president,” he said.
