Firefighters brace for disastrous conditions right across the country

Authorities are on high alert on Monday as bushfire conditions deteriorate right across the country. Two emergency warnings are in place for fires burning in Victoria’s East and residents in East Gippsland have been told to take immediate shelter as it is too late to leave. Meanwhile in South Australia there is concern a fire in the Adelaide Hills could destroy more homes if conditions do not ease in the state.
