Falls Festival in Lorne cancelled due to unsafe conditions

Festival-goers have been told to pack up and leave after the annual Falls Festival in Lorne was cancelled due to volatile fire conditions in Victoria. Some 9,000 music fans were told they must leave the campground early on Sunday morning after organisers announced they had been advised to cancel the festival. The attendees were given 24 hours to vacate the venue and will receive a full refund. Falls Festival events in Byron Bay, Marion Bay and Fremantle are set to go ahead as planned.
