Governments should ‘plagerise’ great ideas: Turnbull

Former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says governments should "shamelessly plagiarise" innovative ideas and be flexible enough to dump bad ideas. "If we see anybody doing something that achieves the same goals better than us we will shamelessly plagiarise them," he told a start-up conference in Sydney on Friday. "You can do that in government, I wouldn't encourage you to do that in software."
