Snowy Mountain Scheme 2.0 plays ‘important role’ in electricity prices

Energy Minister Angus Taylor says the Snowy Mountain Scheme was “an iconic engineering project in Australian history”. Energy Minister Angus Taylor told Sky News the project “brought with it an incredibly successful immigration program, and was desperately needed at the time”. “It is and has played an enormously important role and will play a role in the future as we move towards Snowy 2.0,” he said.
