Pauline Hanson pushes to extend drought-assistance

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson will attempt to widen access to a financial scheme offering drought-stricken farmers critical assistance payments. Legislation formalising the policy is before parliament but still includes a contentious four-year cap - meaning farmers are cut off from the funding after four-years regardless of their circumstance.
