Elon Musk unveils space travel prototype

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has unveiled a new ‘SpaceX’ rocket designed to carry people to the Moon, Mars and around the world. The ‘SpaceX’ chief executive is building several prototypes of the starship and plans to start flying them in the coming months. Mr Musk said an upgraded version could travel to Earth's orbit in less than six months. The Mk1 version will begin high-altitude tests in coming months. Image: Getty

Police Detain Person at Moscow Memorial for Navalny

Police in Moscow were seen detaining at least one person at the “Wall of Grief,” a monument to victims of political persecution, where a vigil to Alexei Navalny was set up on Saturday, February 17. Video filmed by Russian media outlet SOTA shows police detaining one person near the monument and carrying them away. Navalny was reported dead by Russian Russian authorities on Friday, February 16. Authorities said the 47-year-old dissident fell ill and died in the prison colony where he was detained. According to Meduza, more than 150 people have been arrested at protests and gatherings in memory of Navalny across Russia. International media reported several journalists were arrested in Moscow and St Petersburg after Navalny’s death was announced.
