Education Minister Dan Tehan says Australia is receiving more than $35 billion in export income from foreign students but has assured there is no interference. Mr Tehan told Sky News Chinese students accounted for 30 per cent of all foreign students in Australian universities. He argued the more diversity in the market, the stronger universities were against headwinds. “We want to make sure the university sector is doing all it can to make sure there is no foreign interference occurring on university campuses,” he said.
