Students to communicate with emojis in the classroom

Students in Queensland will soon be able to tell their teachers how they are feeling through the use of emojis. The new technology aims to encourage children to use the popular ideograms, usually reserved for texting and social media messaging. The feature will allow students to communicate with the teacher, telling them whether they are happy, bored or confused. The technology will be introduced as part of a greater focus on mental health and well-being in schools. Image: Getty
