August 20, 2019. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian speaking to media about a bill aimed at decriminalising abortion in the state. Berejiklian, responding to claims the bill has been rushed, says she has never seen so much debate or time spent on a bill. "I've been in parliament for 17 years and I can't remember a bill having so much debate in the lower house ... I can't remember anything taking so long," she says. She also says once the bill is dealt with her government will look at instituting further protections of unborn babies in relation to violent crimes through Zoe's Law. (AAP VIDEO/Andrew Leeson)
