A “Straight Pride Parade” held in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 31 featured a float decked out in Trump 2020 re-election flags and signage that said “build the wall.” The Boston Globe reported that a “few hundred marchers” participating in the parade were outnumbered by “thousands” of protesters The parade was organized by the Super Happy Fun America group and aimed to “celebrate the diverse history, culture, and contributions of the straight community,” according to its website. Attendees included Milo Yiannopoulos, an openly gay conservative political commentator. He was named grand marshal of the event. Citing officials, local media said multiple arrests were made at the event.
