AFL fans left fuming over inflated cost of flights

AFL fans are fuming over the price of tickets to travel interstate for round one of the finals after airlines doubled prices within hours of the fixtures being released. With just one match in Melbourne in round one of the finals and three games interstate, the costs of flying to Perth, Sydney and Brisbane have sky-rocketed. A Richmond fan wanting to fly to Brisbane for Saturday’s game said he was looking at prices up to $500 for a one-way ticket, compared to $200 if they booked last Sunday.
